Facebook borrows Snapchat’s inspiring stories feature for messenger, calls it ‘Messenger Day’
Facebook has borrowed yet
one more feature from rival Snap chat. After launching the ‘Stories’ feature on
Instagram back in August, the social network has currently borrowed an
equivalent for its messenger service. However, the new messenger update isn’t available
worldwide simply nevertheless. Facebook is understood to be testing the
feature only in Republic of Poland, a rustic where Snap chat enjoys restricted
quality.
Called messenger Day, the new upgraded feature will show stories
from you and your Facebook friends right top of the messenger app, similar to
Instagram Stories. Stories posted using messenger Day can expire in twenty-four
hours. Users will be able to scribble on photos, use filters and stickers,
similar to Snap chat and Instagram.
